Ms. Peterson counsels clients regarding wills, trusts, probate, and long-term care planning, including Medicaid qualification. Prior to joining Scott Counsel, Ms. Peterson was a litigator for a personal injury firm where she represented clients injured in motor vehicle and fall-down accidents. She also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Vernoia, J.A.D. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Ms. Peterson utilizes an attentive, detail-driven method to resolve clients’ problems.

A South Jersey native, Ms. Peterson received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School. She was the Publication Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review and participated in the school’s Mediation Pro Bono Project. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Tamara Scott has a wealth of experience having worked at Jefferson Health Home Care – Wound Care and Keystone Health. Tamara attended Rowan University for her BSN and is currently pursuing her Advanced Practitioner Nurse degree at Jefferson University. She is a very engaged – hands on nurse that is a true problem solver and resource for our clients and internal team. Scott Counsel is grateful to have her help navigating our families through the clinical issues in aging.

Melissa oversees the daily operations and systems for the Firm. In addition, Melissa handles the applications and eligibility requirements for government benefits such as Medicaid, VA and PAAD for our clients. She works closely with the clients, family members, facilities and County offices. Melissa enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore with her 3 kids and husband, Ren.

As Director of Community Outreach, she plans numerous events around our geographic area to educate and help the senior population. When she is not working, she enjoys making memories with her children and grandchildren. Jeannie believes being part of the Scott Counsel team allows her to make a difference in someone’s life every day.

Redmond handles the applications and eligibility requirements for government benefits such as Medicaid and VA for our clients. He works closely with the clients, family members, facilities and County offices. He is passionate about helping families qualify for government benefits to pay for long-term care, it warms his heart when he can help someone. Redmond began as a Chef and Dietary director in an assisted facility, where he discovered his true calling was to guide his clientele's families in the right direction for their long-term care needs. He loves to spend time with his wife, Melissa and 3 stepchildren. Redmond is an avid golfer, loves to travel, and shreds on the guitar.
